PFF,
I have a friend here in Pensacola who is trying to get a business off the ground. She has been working locally mainly from word of mouth. I am going to try to help her out a little by posting a thread here on the forum since there are many here who are appreciative of new posts and are helpful. Her name is Heather Sutton of Pensacola, she has been making these specialty cakes for a while. She specializes in:
Wedding Cakes
Birthdays
Special Occassions
Special DesignI have posted some pictures of some of the cakes she makes. Her company is called Artfully Delicious. Cakes start at 30.00 and vary in price depending on design. She normally works on an appointment basis, but has been slow as of late. I have seen (and eaten) her cake while at her daughters birthday party and the design and attention to detail is phenomenal. 1. fish cake (snapper design, or for most of you a catfish design)
2. hunting cake (a cake designed of a hunter with mosquito bites or vehicle without catch)
3. over the hill cake (enough said!!!)
4. i voted for barack obama cake (cake made to resemble barack obama)
5. diving cake (barracuda design)
6. football season starting up

Some really nice cake work if you ask me. I bet this person can bang out some pretty cool holiday cakes too! That person ought to consider some of the competitions!

Cakes really are very eye appealing. She also infuses them with veins of filling (ie: strawberry, blueberry, etc.) At least thats what I think what is done! They are very tasty Irregardless! She definitely is very talented and only does this on the side as she is a busy parent, like most of us!

badazzchef, that would be great. She works in pensacola and the surrounding communities. I know she goes to OB and bikes the bike trail every now and then so that nor GS I do not think will be an issue for her.
