| Are there any issues with the water quality from the area where Escambia Bay meets Escambia River? I caught some flounder and a red fish and was told there was possibly some bad things in the water (mercury)? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Ted

| I went to the EPA's web page and it looks like all of northwest Florida is about the same. I guess I'll be keeping a lookout for the Bart Simpson 3 eyed fish. Ted

| If me memory is correct, you are only supposed to eat 1 meal per week of fish from the Escambia River or upper Escambia Bay, due to the presence of PCB's that were dumped in the river years ago. Ed

Gotta watch that show. Don't want to be eating fish that can cause any medical problems. Would'nt that be a mess, die eating fish! I say bring the troops home and spend some money on cleaning up the water, plus we might could get some hydro energy out of it while doing it. I wonder if that will include Walton County also. We aren't that far from you guys.
