I feel for ya bro. Had a chocolate that I raised from that age took her in Ohio for Quail, Pheasant Ducks of all kinds, Colorado for geese and pintails, chukers, quail, mountain grouse, and when we got to Florida all she had left was keeping the cats and squirrels out of the yard but she was my best buddy for a long long time.
Keep those good times close and write up some of the stories for when your memories dim. Each time you reread them .. well... keep the Kleenex handy.

i dont know what id do with out my ol'lab natty. born and raised a coon killer. she loves when we go hunt,she wont lett'em get away.
so i feel for ya i lost a dog about 3 years ago, an got natty for christmas 2 years ago...i think im about to get a bird dog here pretty soon.
i hope your dog is blessed in doggy heaven man...
