Hey guys I'm looking into getting a camera to take with me diving.  I've been eyeballing the sea-life cameras.  Anybody got any words to put towards them.

I have a Sealife DC 500 and I love it. The shutter speed is a little slow, thats the only thing I can say negative about it and it does have a shark mode that has no shutter delay. It takes great pictures. I had some water leak into my case one time and fry my camera after the warranty had expired. I sent Sealife an email to see if they could fix it and told them it was out of warranty. They ended up replacing the camera, outer housing, and the battery free of charge no questions asked.

Awesome. I think I'm leaning towards (I thinks its called) the reef pro models, they're a little bit cheaper and its my first camera so hopefully it'll work out for what I want it for.

Check into the Intova cameras.  Their pretty nice digital cameras at a beginners price - around $200.

That's what Clay uses.

There good cameras! And I have had mine 140 feet and never a problem. There are 2 different models, one takes slightly better pics with a higher megapixel, and the other takes twice the quality video, if thats what you plan on doing.

Talk to evensplit, they carry em!
