Woke early this morning and saw the storm on the radar. Couldnt take the boat out ,so my son and me loaded up and headed out to Johnsons beach. No fleas so we got some fresh dead shrimp.Peeled the shell off and in the water he went.My sons first cast ,he didnt even have time to put the rod in the sand spike, and bam !!!!!!! Fish on. Nice size Pompano. My reel starts going off !!!!!!!! What do you know,.Catfish!!!!!!!! 10 minutes later my sons reel starts going, nice size Pompano again. Im thinking,ok this is how its going to be.Well sure enough, thats how it was all day He ended up with 5 Pomps,1 Redfish. I ended up with 50 something Catfish. Oh well, he had a good time. Thats what its all about.Scott

Congrats to the both of you on what sounds like some great time spent together.
