Though political opinion isn't always mutual among Christians, I hope most are pulling for the one who doesn't believe throwing live babies in the trash is acceptable.

Your starting point is that you refuse to believe in a God who would allow someone to spend eternity in hell because of a rejection of Jesus. YOu are not objective, my friend. You are biased.
Scientists are not biased!! They do not wake up and think " I need to forrn my conclusions around Christianity being 100% false". They gather observable data and form conclusion.

Creation scientists start from the bible is 100% accurate and make conclusions based on that.

The difference between me and you......

I previously stated there is a possibility your religion could be 100% accurate, but highly improbably.

You believe my faith(believe in God) is 100% wrong.

You believe I am going to hell for not accepting Jesus.

I believe you will go to the afterlife and so will all humans.
Like the ones who faked the data on global warming, or the ones who faked the data on the oceans rising, or the ones who faked the data on the Polar bear die off, what about the ones who faked the data on all of the missing links by piecing together bone fragments that were found miles apart or in completely different sendimentary levels. Could it be that the scientist who claim to make a drug that cures something that it doesn't? Or are they just mistaken, even though they claim to be right. Chemists are scientist too.............right?

Scientist are people. Very rarely do you ever hear of one going years and years trying to prove something only to say."Nope, I was wrong" They just keep plugging away, trying to prove it, when all the evidence is to the contrary"

True...but you should check out the story of Lee Strobel. He wrote the book "Case For Christ. You can also find it on Netflix. He took almost 3 years to examine the claims of Christians (from an atheistic, journalist perspective) in an attempt to prove his own disbelief. Well, the evidence was, and is, irrefutable. Lee became a follower of Jesus. You may also be interested in the book, "Son of Hamas", written by the son of one of the 7 founding members of Hamas in the 80's. The son found the claims of Jesus to be true..and he was definitely born in the wrong place...Yes, the power of the gospel even still today. It is changing lives all over the world. Especially in Muslim countries.

Spooney, another great faith book is "I don't have enough faith to be an athiest," by Norm Geisler and Frank Turek. Lee Strobel commented on this book and said "I wish [this book] had been available when I was an atheist-it would have saved a lot of time in my spiritual journey toward God!"-Lee Strobel

Josh McDowell and many others have recommended it. Great book for athiests and people with those questions.

Thanks. I'll look for it. I love Geisler's stuff. One of my favorites is unshakeable foundations written with Pete Bocchino.

Linear Theory of Evolution. Shows there is room for faith and evolution. I find it humorous that almost everyone on this board is so closed minded that they completely ignore those of us who actually provide simple logical theories to start to expain very complex questions. People, you use less than 11% of your brain power. Try using a tad more. Open your mind to things outside your present zone of comfort. There is nothing wrong with christian beliefs, just as there is nothing wrong with scientific beliefs. Get out of your uncomprimising rut. It makes you seem childish.
