Well my wife and I headed over to an area known as the East Cape just north of Cabo San Lucas for our 3rd trip in 5 years. This time we had my brother and his wife meeting us there from Portland, Or. We fished 3 days total and had one excellent day with 3 big rooster fish from 35-50, shots at 6 sails hooking 4 and boating 2 for pictures, and 2 big dorado 40-45# along with one smaller one. The second day had blustery conditions left over from Hurricane Carlotta but we managed 2 nice fish a 50# dorado and a 100# striped marlin. Last day we fished we found some yellowfin tuna. We caught 6 small ones and another dorado. All the fish were caught within site of shore and most within 5 miles or so. Here are a few pics of the trip. By the way before anyone goes crazy over the deal striped marlin on the dock it came up tailwrapped and we tried reviving it for some time to no avail. However it tasted really good for dinner and we brought some smoked marlin back for dip!!

Very nice.
Been a long time since I drove the Baja peninsular, but I always enjoyed the fantastic fishing on the east cape area.
Thanks for reminding of my youthful adventurous days in the Sea of Cortez!
