Default Morning bite 4/20

Hit the sound this morning before sunrise. Caught a few small trout then was able to find some keepers. Trout were on deeper docks and it seems like you just have weed through the dinks. Moved up to some shallow water and was able to locate some reds. Had one that just inhaled the live target swimbait. Didn't measure it but it seemed like a mid to upper slot fish. Off the water by 0830 and headed home. All fish were released.

Nice report! What kind of Kayak do you have if you don't mind me asking? I'll be in the market after I sell my boat to help pay for kids college and still looking at all the options out there. Seems to be more pedal drive options showing up on regular basis these days!

That's a PA14 in the picture. I've only ly had it for about 6 months and love it. I'm actually supposed to be adding a Predator PDL in the garage today as well. Wife became jealous and had to have her own yak. Now I think she's going to have the better one.....

They're called tactical angler clips. I bought them off Amazon and couldn't live without them now. They save flourocarbon and make switching lures a breeze. Fish don't seem to notice it to much either.
