Finally got out in the yak again today - feels like it's been forever. . Couldn't find bait near the beach again. Head out and got a schoolie king on a frozen cig. Got to some structure and picked up some small rubies. Got a small AJ (24").
Bite was slow so I picked up and hit another close by spot. Dragging a ruby over there. Big Jack Crevalle picked him up right away - my arms were tired. Some guys diving the spot were nice enough to take a picture of it for me - I think this is the biggest Jack I've caught. Fished a little longer and got another under sized (26") AJ. Still no supper. Finally as I was about to give up and head in I got a decent legal AJ 36" (kw length). It was 32 to the fork. Nice poker hand - 4 Jacks, King High Last edited by need2fish; 08-04-2012 at 08:45 PM. |
