Default Question about selling guns

In general if you have a centerfire rifle for sell with a scope and you want to get the most amount of dollars in return, is it better to sell them together or the scope and rifle separately? Another question, suppose the scope on the rifle has a retail cost which is more than the rifle. Would that alter the way you tried to sell the two? Kind of new at this and would like some advice. Thanks in advance.

Always best to split up the pair, same with a gun that has a lot of extra mags and stuff, people always want to customize it some some level, and youll probably lost alot selling together

I've found with just about anything parting it out is a better plan for the price, what you can do aswell if you want the item to move is give a package price (a slightly better deal than each piece) and then a item by item price since someone might want just the rifle or just the scope but the option is open to bundle them for a savings.

Sell the rifle here and the scope on eBay. See what similar scopes are selling for and price yours a few dollars cheaper. The ones who lost out on the more expensive one will bid on yours and it will sell without a problem. Start and end the auction on a Sunday evening around seven Pacific time. It works.
