Anybody hear the the latest. If so, please keep us posted. Understand the court will give a preliminary approval to the settlement as soon as this week.

No one will know until the information is released. The law firms are also waiting and don't know anymore than we do as of today.

If you are a waterfront property owner there will also be compensation based upon the property tax.

Are there any updates on BP as of this writing? Have they started with the actual payments to those affected? Thanks!

The Court will hold a hearing on November 8, 2012 to consider whether to approve the E&PD Settlement. After that who knows.....

I was told tis week that the standard GCCF Claim application that was being used is now null and void as of around June 4th, and the NEW claim form is 16 pages with a 32 page instruction booklet. Attorney's handling this nightmare, are scrambling to get the new claim forms nailed down and submitted asap. Other that this, nothing else....

Same here,

The instructions are a nightmare. The law firm I was using dropped my 4 cases b/c the money isn't big enough for them to make big money.

Anyone hearing anything or getting paid for claims? I filed a claim in mid June but can not get any updates of the status from the website or help line.
