This is what's makes me nervous. The shut down the cell towers then install a no fly zone. All just to move some cows? Something else is up.

Compensated or not, sometimes people don't want money for land that is "taken" from them. They just want to be left the heck alone.

I understand but if it was once his land and the family sold it tough cookie. If they never owned it what the hell is he bitching about?

If I owned 500 acres butting up against a national forest legal or not I would take a deer any time I pleased on my land and hope I didn't get caught. I sure as heck will not be going over to the National forest and shooting one though.

I can't find it either but from what I have found he didn't want the money and didn't want to sell. He also wasn't given a fair price most likely as it's usually a lowball offer with the 'take the money or we'll just take your land' mentality.

Right or wrong, and no matter your political leanings, this is not a good thing. Heavy handed federal authorities and a stubborn rancher will not end well and only serve to either further divide and disenfranchise those that pay attention and/or lead to a shit pile of blood.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not for the way they are going about it and if Harry Reid puts that damn Solar Factory there he and everyone involved should be sent to prison. If they are going to protect the land for a turtle then so be it. Stupid but so be it.

The man needs to pay up. If he has been paying the state and county then the state and county should fork it over to the feds. It wasn't there money to take and the feds should be going after them not the farmer.

Oh yea, Ruby Ridge proved that. I'm still out on Waco but Ruby Ridge there should have been some fed heads rolling.

agree

my best guess is this is a " Pay to Play " Chicago type underworld deal with our ever increasing corrupt government protected by a corrupt attorney general and his corrupt boss and accomplices
it use to be that all the guberment intrusion was " for the children " but here we have no children so it is " for the turtles ". I smell a Rat
the end game will be bitter when the LE personnel who take part in attacking this American family will someday have their homes , family and descendants face the same thing when they come for him and his property

So would you support a group of Native Americans if they were removing this man's cattle from "their" rangeland?
