Default Bank of America refuses cash payment on mortgage loans!!

As the value of the US dollar continues to shrink and more countries are declaring that they will no longer accept payment for goods and services in US dollars, we can now see more signs of a resistance by businesses here in the US to accept our own currency. Now Bank of America is refusing to accept cash payment for mortgage loans. This is not an isolated case and is not because the customer was recording the discussion. Others have reported that this is occurring elsewhere as a new bank policy.

Can you elaborate on what your experiences were? I am not asking for anything that is private, but more detail on what happened? Thanks!

Perhaps the house is in foreclosure and they won't take payment in any form?

Me thinks there is another side to this story.

I have a friend that is with a bank that starts with "R'. she said that this bank told her that they were not taking any more payments and she was not in foreclosure. Case pending!! Indeed there is more to this story. Makes sense to me that at some point the banks would stop taking this failing fiat currency. In fact I suspect that at some not to distant future they will declare a 'bank holiday' for a few days. When they reopen the dollar will have been devalued by about 40%.

Hmmmmmmmm!!!!???

Will marshal law be far behind??

All this sounds likely and the banks will do everything that they can, to protect themselves.

Not sure why comparing the dollar to the euro is useful in this context. That is like comparing the health of two people on life support...
