[EDIT: Ok, just to clarify... I think the mods are doing aGREAT job I have no problem with any of them or the way the sight is being run. I am very greatful to Chris and the other mods for putting so much time and effort into keeping things running smoothly.

That being said, the following is simply a SUGGESTION.Hence it being in the "forum suggestions" section. I am well aware of the current rules for posting and am aware that the mods are usually on top of all violations of the rules.I've been on this forum since the old site and have noticed lately the mods having to do more and more work policing the classifieds. I just though the following SUGGESTION might be a possibility to help lighten the load on them, that's all. EDIT]

Ok, so on another forum I post on, they have their classifieds section set up so that <U>to starta thread in the classifiedsyou have to be a paying member</U>. I think it's like 4.95 for a month trial membership, or 14.95 for the year.<U>Without being a paying memberone can reply to post in the classifieds section and start threads of their own in any other section, just not sell stuff.</U>

I'm sure there are all kinds of legal and tax issue's you get into once you start collecting money like this, but it could be the kind of thing where Chris could set up something where all the funds went to charity maybe??

Anyway, this is just a suggestion on how to keep down some of the spammers and people who join just to sell stuff. It seems to work pretty well on the other forum, which is Bikeforums.net incase anyone is wondering.

i actually like the fact that lots of different stuff for sale goes through here, i have met alot of great people that i've fished with and learned from just buy buying a reel or something. The current rules seem well thought out, and the mods do a good job of keeping swap meet fellers out.

Yeah i know that, but it seems everytime you get on here, especially the guns and ammo section. there is someone else who has joined just to sell something. Anyway, like I said, it's JUST A SUGGESTION. Not like I expect to to actually take place.

when you see it copy and paste the link in a pm to a mod or alert it so it gets gone

I brought this up on a different thread but why must everyone make suggestion to the mods and owner of this great site about how it should be ran? Did you ever think that they run it the way they see fit?
