I haven't used Kistler yet..I really didn't even know they sold blanks....I'll have to give them a try...



Ernie, Does Shikari sell a 6' 6" (6-12lb) Moderate....If so do you know the blank I.D #...

We'll just have to turn this thread in to our forum.

My favorite inshore blank is probably graphite USA but nobody carries them and I can't say I blame them cause their customer service sucks but man do they make a great rod.

I have never built a rod. I've got ever thing but the blank, seat and guides,about to buy all that. The only thing i don't know how to do is diamond wrap and other butt wraps. anyone have advice on how to diamond wrap?

You wanted it, you got it! Now who is going to step up to the plate to become another PFF mod to look after it? The current ones are taxed enough... You can be in charge of just this area of the entire site if you want, that is your choice.
