Dang Frank you hardly post as it is, and I know for sure you have more knowledge in your head that 10 of me put together. Hell I dont even call them Pie Rats anymore because of you. I call them Pier Jockies.

Is there a rule that states: You have to be a member for more than a month and have 30 post before listing something for sell in the For Sale Section?

Hey Garbo I think the rule reads 30 posts OR 1 month, however I have been known to be wrong.

Thank You, and you are correct and I am wrong, but the point is the same. If there was a requirement that the Month or 30 post had to be met before the member could post in that section, and until the month or 30 post were met the member would be limitedto Read Only in the For Sale Section, it would keep the Mods from having to police and enforce the rule.

But, I am starting to wonder if I even understand why the rule exist anyway, now......I guess we would rather gripe about it.

Feel free to contact the developers of this forum script and ask them to include it! I simply try to manage it the best I can with the tools provided. Lucky, we are one of their largest accounts and they listen to my suggestions and are working on several updates as we speak.

Seriously, I always thought the 30 posts deal was to scare off the spammers anyway. With the keyboard cowboy mentality some of the membershave on here, a new poster is just asking for a good lashing by not following the rules...
