Default fish id page

can we start a sticky or something like that what we can gradually post pictures and names of all the different types of fish in it. a lot of times people catch fish and dont know what they are and a lot of times books dont have good pictures.

I'll second that. I haven't been fishing too long and often catch fish that aren't on my ID chart and it kills me to feed flipper and come home and find out I could have eaten it myself.:banghead

That's the combo I use just add recent regs because sometimes the lawstick ain't up to date.

i have that book too, but im talking about real photos. cause i have caught fish that look similar to a number of different fish in that book. nothing beats a real picture instead of a drawing.

Fish of the Northern Gulf of Mexico by Jerry G Walls. Has a waterproof picture pull out actual pictures. Pricey but there is nothing that swims that is not in it for around here.
