One was manufactured in October 2001 and the other in February 2002 (so no worries about the bad recall dates). They both had their last hydro in April 2007. Third tank is a Catalina Aluminum 80 manufactured in February 2001. It?s last hydro was in September 2006. They all had their last vis in March 2008 at which time they all were Oxygen cleaned by the pros at MBT. These tanks are full and are ready to dive. I will take $300 for all three or $115 each. If interested call Mark at 393-9529.

Im not trying to be rude...it is your third post on the forum (Im doubting you ever posted a fishing report)and you are trying to sell your 7 year old tanks for ten dollars cheaper than brand new ones. Its like the guy selling the kayak on craigs list for 11 more dollars than what it costs brand new at bass pro. I dont want to see someone get ripped off.

As of this morning here are the prices for new AL 80's from local dive shops *Before Tax*:

$219, $185, $179 (then add in around $30 for an Oxygen cleaning at MBT)= $249, $215, $209

I am not sure where Tex can buy them brand new for $140, but if he would like to share with everyone, I am curious to know.

Sir...you dont even come to this site other than to try to sell your crap...As for the O2 cleaning...new tanks from the factory do not require this unless you plan on using more than 40% O2.

Here is a link for new alumnium 80s for 139.99 Ofcourse you have to add 14 dollars for shipping but i think i would pay 24 dollars more for a brand new tank versus a 7 year old tank.

http://www.diversdirect.com/scuba-di...aluminum-tank/

Good luck with the sell man...really looking forward to gaining some knowledge and giving you props when you get around to posting some fishing reports :toast

PS dont ever throw up on me again.

I know I'm probably being a dumb ass by getting in the middle of this one....but there is noreason for all the ruffled feathers. The price of a scuba tank is not akin to the price of food stuff or fuel after a natural disaster. It is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer that there is no price gouging here. The seller, in this case, has the right to ask whatever price he deems reasonable. Also, the prospective buyer has the option not to purchase the item. Caveat emptor.

Hey Tex- Thanks for that website. At the top there is a coupon for 10% off your entire order so that should cover the $14 shipping!
