Never Used Brand New Billy Pate Salmon. The Salmon is an 8 weight fly reel. This one is a Direct Drive model in black. Billy Pate Reels are machined from Barstock Aluminum, by Ted Jurasic, and somewhat a work of art. I sold a gold one last year for $600.00.
