Hey guys I had posted my Sand Spike in the tips section a few weeks ago while I worked out the design issues. You guys gave me some good feedback and I appreciate it. This is one bad ass spike. I mean it is heavy duty and I built it to last forever. If you ever break it fishing, I will replace it for free. You could use it for a deadly weapon lol... Seriously you just gotta put your hands on it and see what a brute this thing is. It exudes quality. It weighs about 2 pounds.
( Old Thread ) Well it's time to move it to the proper place, FOR SALE, because it is officially for sale and in production ( just like the anchor I posted a few days ago ) I have built a website and plan to start selling them on ebay, from my website, and locally in stores and bait shops. At $29, it is only a few bucks more than others I have bought for comparison, and my design is better in every way. You can order one from me or you can get them at Kenny's place ( Emerald Coast Marine ) and Chris Phillips ( Hot Spots Bait and Tackle ). I have made a change to my site anything you order is $5 shipping no matter how many you order. One, or one hundred, same price for shipping. Here is a slide show of us at the pass last weekend. <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="800" height="533" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&captions=1&no autoplay=1&hl=en_US&feat=flashalbum&RGB=0x000000&f eed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffee d%2Fapi%2Fuser%2FRuggedMetal%2Falbumid%2F543530138 7657797713%3Falt%3Drss%26kind%3Dphoto%26hl%3Den_US " pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed> Here is the "Mine vs Theirs" <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="800" height="533" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&captions=1&no autoplay=1&hl=en_US&feat=flashalbum&RGB=0x000000&f eed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffee d%2Fapi%2Fuser%2FRuggedMetal%2Falbumid%2F543530257 6359326897%3Falt%3Drss%26kind%3Dphoto%26hl%3Den_US " pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed> And here is a video of my Dad putting one in the sand <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IRG_eJFkwos&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IRG_eJFkwos&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Give me a shot I promise you will be satisfied or your money back. |

these spikes are by far the most cool, well made, brutal piece of fishing gear you can get....these are a 'MUST have' if you fish from the surf. Period.
