Default wtb: rossi 38 special

if anyone has a rossi 38 special 4" barrel, stainless steel, walnut grips, and wouldn't mind parting with it i am in the market for one for my mom my dad gave to here years ago before he passed and it kinda got lost in a move at some point. the gun was probably made in the late 80's early 90's. I know they quit making the SS version and make a blue or black version now.

I have thatexact gun, but doubtful I'll be able to part with it. Bought it for the wife, and it's the onlygun she's ever gotten comfortable with. If you need that EXACT gun, it would need to be a trade for something similar, smaller cal. might be OK, in AS NEW condition (subject to HER approval). I know that's a long shot, but it's the most help I can offer! Good luck!

flounderpounder, ask your wife what she might be comfortable shooting with let me know what she says, even a long shot is better than no shot at all. if the gun is in fairly perfect condition i would consider buying her a new gun if thats what it took.

OK, I spoke with her, and she'd be willing to trade ("It's just a gun"). It'd have to be a revolver, in equal condition, preferably SS. This one is like NEW. Only fired one time (one box of ammo), always kept inside in a zipped case, andcleaned every 6 months or so. Not a scrach on it! I even have the original box and paper work (11/97), and a box of ammo.

I guess the balls in your court! Maybe someone on the forum has something similar for sale, for a 3 way sale/swap???? Smaller cal.MIGHT be OK.
