I have a 2001, GMC Yukon. I was driving it down an off ramp off of I-10 and hydroplaned, slide into a pine tree. Bent Front Bumper, Grill, and Hood. Slight leak somewhere in Radiator Cooling system. Drives Great, but needs to be brought back to Standard.

$3500.00 and it's your and your sons Good Times Project.

I have an Oldsmobile Delta Eighty Eight. Its not cool and it has some cosmetic issues, but it only has sixty five thousand miles and runs great. Its so reliable we are actually taking it on a one thousand mile trip tomorrow. We are asking twenty five hundred. My number keys have broken if you cant tell haha.

The only thing that kept me from wrecking my car off roading is that it was a car. Every HS friend I know wrecked their truck, jeep, etc. they had by 4 wheeling or driving places a car wouldn't go. Literally everyone I knew.

I'm not saying make him get a car, I'm just saying that if you get something that can be taken off road chances are it will be abused a lot more until he has to pay every cent for it and to repair it.

I had to buy my first truck. I have yet to wreck any of my vehicles... Oh I take that back, got pissed at a lady sitting at a stop sign yakin on the phone with nobody waiting. I eased up n bumped her. Then jumped out askin why the hell she rolled into me? She said she was sorry without getting off the phone, got back in and drive off. People wonder how road rage starts?

Any way my 2 cents is, make him work for it, unless this is his money, or some other underlying reason, he will appreciate it more later!
