Default looking to buy an outboard motor

Looking for a 175 - 200 hp outboard motor. the boat is rated to 200 hp so i would take a 225 as well.

No problem! You can build up transom or install it with the extra 10 inches hanging down.

Have a 1996 Mercury 225 in VERY GOOD condition...need 2500 back out of it...it is a 25" can be installed w/ jackplate to raise it up..........do not install that 30" and leave the extra hanging down, your boat will not preform at all......email fishbit@windstream.net or here on the forum.

A 25" will work on a 20" transom not a 30".
