My friend is having to move to the Pacific North West and can't take this with him.
I have been in this boat many times and it was the inspiration in the purchase of my turn key fan boat that cost me close to 30k. Who ever buys this rig will be the envey of the local gigging community. Nothing else hunts like a true Flounder Fan Boat, Nothing else comes close to its capabilities. I am selling my Gigging boat, because we are moving to Seattle the first of December. No Flounder giggin there. Here is the Low down on the boat and setup. 18' Lowes Jon beam is 84?, Bottom width is 60? sides are 24?. Floats in 4 inches of water. Ribs are welded not riveted 40hp Mercury the best Mercury ever made. Fan Motor is a Honda 18hp V-twin with less than 200hrs. 3 Blade composite prop. @ 36? Variable pitch. From Sully's 120 amp marine alternator for charging and running the flounder lights. All aluminum fan stand built to be able to remove easily. Center console with fairly new steering and throttle cables. Switches for all lights on console. 2 batteries, one for outboard and the other for the lights and Fan Motor. 15 gal fuel tank and fuel pump for Fan motor Front of the boat. Railing made from aluminum and very sturdy. Stick steering with throttle right on the handle for all night use. 2 butt seats to sit and gig if you prefer. Front lights for gigging 7-- 50watt headlights found in any auto parts store Lights up the water like nothing else. Lights are dropped into the water by a pedal on the floor where you stand Lights are adjustable and are totally made from Aluminum. Trailer is Galvanized and have fairly new tires and the runners are easy glide. One Man can and I do often use this boat. I made it easy because I can't always get someone to go with me. Also comes with everything you need but the kitchen sink. 4 10' stainless gigs, life jackets, coolers, fishing pools, tackle, I mean everything You want beat this boat anywhere around. Fine looking boat!!! Just have to make a couple of mods to make it perfect. Those rails would have to go.:doh Wish I had the spare change, its a hell of a deal.

Thats cool...The handrail is also a mounting point for the switch box to the lights, fan starter,
Fan throttle, Fan steering and in this case, the driving lights. |
