I was surf fishing this morning a couple of miles (or so) east of Portofino. The surf was pretty rough and the fog was thick, couldn't see past the sandbar most of the morning. At one point, the fog peeled back and I saw out past the bar a lone yakker in what looked like a hobie. Within a minute or so, the fog closed back in and he was gone. It was like scene out of a pirate movie.
