Who all is gonna be heading out this weekend to try and get those first tasty reds? Seas are looking awesome for yaks to hit it hard this weekend and do some reef fishing

Since when is 8-13 knots a heavy wind? That is a pretty standard wind here on the gulf coast and coming from the north it is laying the seas down pretty flat...but even with 8-13 knots and 2-3 seas, that is very fish able...plenty of kayakers fish that weather consistently damn near all summer

Saturday...
Beach winds.........north winds around 5 mph shifting to the
southwest late in the morning.
Beach temperature...74-80.
Surf height.........1 foot or less.
Rip current risk....low...however...life threatening rip currents
often occur in the vicinity of
inlets...groins...jetties...and piers. Always
supervise those who cannot swim and remember to
heed the advice of the local beach patrol and
flag warning systems.

For the people that think that wind is "too strong" then you probably should stay on land. Or maybe step your cardio game up so you can handle the "high winds"...or maybe if your 1200 dollar upgrade hobie mirage pedals aren't cutting it you should just put a 75 johnson off the back so you can make it back in
