Default Sharks and Kings in Tx.......

Every once in a while we geat clear waters flow near the upper Texas coast as well. Took a few vid. clips yesterday. Sorry for the aim, first time with the helmet cam and the strap was giving me a HUGE headache. Both blacktips in the video were on close to 6', with the second one probably passing the mark by a couple inches if I had to guess. Kings were thick but selectively slamming ribbonfish over arties almost exclusively. Keep sending us that pretty water. It was a blast to paddle in.

That was a cool video, I need a helmet cam to video! My 11 yr old daughter is hugging my arm begging me not to shark fish out of my yak, now she's asking me who will take care of her if I die...lol

I spent my childhood and teenage years fishing Galveston. I wish I knew about yak fishing then. I didnt even know the kings came in that close there too.
