Default santa rosa beach inshore trip

Went out and paddled around hogs town today hoping that some of the fish might be back inshore. after the first couple hours of seeing absolutely no fish I realized it was going to be a nice day for just kayaking. I kept throwing a spoon here and there but really was not expecting anything. After a few hours of just bs-ing, I was retrieving my spoon, and WHAM! I slowed my spoon down and let it drop and then WHAM again. At the moment, I thought it was a speck but a few seconds later I was confused. This fish was jumping all over the place and appeared foul hooked and looked like a mullet. Well it was a mullet and he wasn't foul hooked. I have some pictures on my phone, I'll upload em later if anyone is interested. I thought it was pretty funny.

In any case, once the sun came out, I started spotting mullet everywhere. It really should not be long until the fish start returning to the grass flats. I know I cant wait.
