Default New to the forum and kayak fishing

Been lurking for awhile and really enjoy reading the informative posts here. I've fished off and on during the years and looking to get back into it. I'm getting ready to get my first kayak and hope to learn and share info with you guys in the future.

Welcome to the addiction! You should take a look at the Gulf Coast Kayak Fishing Association. There's a page on facebook, I can't remember if it's the full name or just GCKFA. That's a good place to start looking and keep an eye out for events to meet other kayak anglers and see what they're paddling/peddling.

Good luck!
Alex

Cool kayak

If youre looking for a good stable fishing kayak ive got a freedom hawk 12 for sale it has pontoons on the back so that you can stand up and when they are spred out it has the stability of an 8 foot jon boat which is really good for a kayak. I have a motor mount that comes with it. you can pm if you want more info
