Default Large mouth from Yak

I know this isn't what most are targeting on here but we're 300 miles from the salt. I caught this on a crank bait the other day. It was a lot of fun. Can't wait for June when we will be coming down to Pensacola for a month.Maybe we can get with some of yall when we get down. For now fresh water species will have to do. I'm going in the morning to try and get this ones big brother

Well 6lb was a safe guess.I did'nt have my scales but measured the length and girth and used the formula on Roland Martins website. It was 23.75 long and the girth was 16.5. The formula said it was over seven but I think it was closer to 6

Nice fish. There is plenty of water here where you are as likely to catch a LMB as you are a speck or redfish...
