Sounds great. Try a flurocarbon leader, it might get you more bites and is definitely more abrasion resistant.

I typically use that, but 60lb test was the largest I had and it was a choice of economics-$6 for a spool for a few times out trying to catch a tarpon won out over the flurocarbon cost.
