Default Kayak paddle

What is everyone's preference when it come's to yak paddle's? Is there an advantage to the curve shaped paddle's over the plain flat one's?

Yes, get a scalloped paddle. Carlisle makes several that won't break the bank. Lightweight because curling this thng all day will wear you out.

Boater's World in Gulf Breeze had some good looking kayak paddles for I think $26. It's part of their going out of business sale and had quite a few left.
