Heroes on the Water - September 22, Shoreline Park

Heroes on the Water or HOW is a therapeutic kayak fishing rehablilitation and reintegration program dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active duty personnel and veterans. For more information visit the Heroes on the Water website and/or facebook page.

The Emerald Coast Chapter of HOW has scheduled our next fishing event for September 22 at Shoreline Park. Find out more about the Emerald Coast Chapter on our facebook page.

If you are already on the email distribution then expect to soon receive an email with more details. If you wish to be added to the email distribution then email me (Doc) at mfindley@uwf.edu

We plan to launch around 7 am, fish till @ 11 AM and then have a cook out. Families are welcome to attend the cook out.

We look forward to a great day of fishing and camaraderie.

So far the response has been good but we have plenty of space left for both Heroes and volunteers. If you are thinking of volunteering, you won't regret it! If you know Heroes who would benefit from our unique form of recreational therapy, let them know about the event!
