Hand Reel

I took out the Green Lantern to the pass to get a little exercise and hook a fish or two. Ianchored upbetween the jetties and did some bottom fishing for an hour with no bites. I was using dead shrimp, live pinfish (small)and Ly's. I was watching the boats out there pull in a lot of sheepshead and small groupers. They seemed to be catching more on the second one so I pulled anchor and went to the first jetty. I put on a gotcha (red/gold) because something was hitting the top water. First cast was a blue at 16''. I spent an hour playing out there and ended up catching well over 10. I kept 2 large ones to try on the grill to see how they taste. A beautiful paddle back into the sunset.
