Hey ya'll,
Newbie questions here... which side of your 'Yak do you put your anchor on? Is it better in the front? I thought maybe the line would interfere with a fighting fish... or do you put it in the back, so you look down current. Or the side? Any information would help! Pictures would help a whole lot! |

What you want is to rig a pulley system so you can move the anchor around to where you need it. What side of your yak doesn't matter except for personal preference. Mine's on my right side with a drift anchor (a.k.a. drift sock) on the left, but I know lots of people who have it on the left.
Check out GCKF, they have a ton of really good DIY rigging suggestions. http://www.gulfcoastkayakfishing.com...chorSystem.htm Good luck and have fun, Alex |
