Man that was a good hunt. I love to hear the Beagles tear off after they smell a hot trail.

I miss that kind of hunting. I was raised doing it.

Default RE: for you "Kenny"

I shoot a 20 gauge remington and love running dogs. Don't get me wrong, I don't always kill that many rabbits...hell, sometimes I don't kill any when I'm buy myself. As many of you stated in your IM's and replys, it takes you back to memories of growing up and hunting with family and friends. It does the same for me and I also find enjoyment out of seeing my dogs grow and mature.

My grandfather (90 years old) is the first to come outside to see how many rabbits I jumped and how many we killed. Then he will breakout into a story of his own about some dog that he loved and how well they hunted.

My Uncle ( a minister that doesn't have as much time to hunt) calls EVERY day to see how my dogs ran or what I killed.

I'm saying all this to say....these are all the reasons that I hunt. At onetime I was the kid they tried to leave at home because I couldn't keep up on a all dayhunt or my dad thought it was too cold. So cold granny would take sweet potatoes off the stove for you to put in your pockets :clap. Now I'm the youngman that has the opportunity to bring a little enjoyment every once in awhile.

Enjoy the outdoors everyone and let that commonality be the crux of the matter that helps us be better people daily.
