We took a week to go out of State and do some rabbit hunting. Hope you guys enjoy!!!

That was one thing that I really liked to do when I was a kid, go rabbit hunting with a good pair of beagles!! I loved to watch my dad's dogs work a trail, barking every step of thechase that special way a beagle barks, and then they would bring that "pesky wabbit" around to us and look so pleased when we took it down! Shooting a rabbit was not much of achallenge at all but watching those cool little dogs earn their dinner was priceless to me!!

I liked hunting them, I HATED cleaning them!! No matter how careful I wasor how sharp my skinning knife was, I always managed to get a little bit of pulled fur hair on the outside of the meat and it was danged near impossible to get off!!!

'Course I was just a kid then and it always seemed like a monumental chore to clean what we shot anyway.

Kenny that cleaning tool is so dang handy that I"m afraid to take it away from home because it might go missing. It really makes cleaning a breeze along with some game shears.

All the shooting was nice and cleaning wasnt so bad but the peolpe that we met really made the trip worth while. I mean folks invited us to hunt farms, eat dinner, pheasant hunt, and a few offered us lodging. I've put them on my Christmas list!!!!
