Default What kind of animal makes a rub like this?

these rubs, or what ever you want to call em go about 12ft up these trees and are close to other trees with regular deer rubs. its weird. im thinkin bears or big cats. but Ive seen bear scrapes and there's usually claw marks, there's no major bear type claw makrs on these trees.

It's not a tree stand, is smooth, there's no lines from a climber bite, its on property we own, its an island, there is bear there, we have a tree a bear has scratched up and there's deep claw gouges and big paw prints leading to the tree, I was wondering if it was a big cat, and if anyone has seen similar stuff like this

If its any kind of pine, conifer or evergreen, alot of times squirrels will strip the sides and use it for the interior portion of their leafy nest. It insulates well for the winter. I've seen large cedars completely stripped.

I was joking around earlier, but the pictures are way to small to see anything, honestly it looks like a dead tree with the bark fallin' off...... I'm sure it's not, pics are just to small. If you can post one at a time & make them bigger I'm sure someone would have an idea, guys on here love to debate stuff like this.
