Do ya'll prefer fields, plots, woods, powerlines, clear cuts, or all of the above?

I prefer woods because of the fact that you can get a little closer without being seen...I hunt with a friend of mine thats got a lease with wide open cuts and there the hardest turkeys to hunt I have ever seen bc most of the time you cant get to em without being seen. IMHP

d . all of the above have killed one in clearcut and 2 on plots and choked on numerous occassions n the woods because i moved and did not know they were there:banghead

Not to sound jerky but I prefer the location that the turkey is in. Kinda like my favorite fish to catch is the one thats on my hook. I have found birds in creeks, pastures, tall pines, hardwoods, food plots, river bottoms etc. I have killed birds in the pouring rain and on blue bird days. Go to where they are. Rain or shine the birds are in the woods anyway. Good Luck
