It seems it always hits me hard a couple weeks after the season, then around June/July, then really hard in September before the season starts. I find myself going through the old "live from" threads just to satisfy this hunting addiction. I can't wait to watch the sunrise through the cold woods....yep, I'm addicted.... Just had to get this off my chest.
No question about it.
But as I grow older, it is not near as bad.
Sort out any new equipment you want to try on your bow, and get it dialed in early.
Go thru field notes, inspect/repair stands , etc..
It is a deadly addiction with mild cures from shooting targets. Those type treatments only makes the problem subside for just a little while. The only real cure is time in the stand during cooler weather and letting some blood squirt out of an animal.
