Default Stuck Breech plug!

Who wants to help me get this thing out!??? I'm no fly wieght and this sum-bitch is stuck!!

First off...

I traded for the rifle and tought I'd clean it good before sighting it in..HMMMMMM ...As I broke off the slot in the old breech plug I noticed some "red" stuff on the threads..I said out loud..."theres no fucking way they put red lock tite on this is there!!"""....As we( yes, 3 of us stared at this scratching our heads)....I said.."how bout one of them broke bolt backout deally things"...they knew what I meant...

So off to get a Steak and a few beers first..of course!!!

We finish a great meal at Texas Roadhouse in Milton(Pittsburgh Ribeye was wonderfull!!)... and off to Home Deposit we go! I find the perfect set of Black & Decker extraction bits..so, I think!!

I read the destructions on the way home...the breech plug already has a hole in it, so no drilling...we slip in the largest bit, lock it down with an extention and wrench...we grab it and I break the bit in half!!! WTF!!!!!!

Now, this POS bit is stuck in the breech plug!!!

So, If ANYONE has any Ideas...lets hear them!!!!

All I know is that the breech plug stuck for sure. Will probably need a drill press to get it out or

Thats all I can come up with!

do you have the piece that slides in and fits into the grooves on the outter rim of the plug? and there would be a 2nd piece that goes through the holes of the first piece so you can turn it and back the plug out.

I had a similar problem with a breech plug. I ended up finding a impact socket and it ended up coming out after a coulpe of minutes with electric impact wrench.

Yea , I have some Ideas but I think better when I am full of Steak and Beer

Penetrating Oil can be your friend.

Heat [ If the Gun is not loaded} around the threads also.
may not be good for the finish or temperament of the steel.

Cant think of anything else on an empty Stomach
