I had the .40 and it was a decent gun for the money. Only issue I had was the guide rod broke(plastic) so I went to a machine shop and had one fashioned out of stainless. Never failed to go boom or hit what I was aiming at.

I have shot both the PD and the judge with .410 numerous times.

I would not want to be in front of a judge or a public defender with either gun unless you want to look like a vigilante about to be convicted guilty.

The gun you use makes a big difference to a jury selection.

I'd rather explain how all I had to defend myself with was this little ole .410 shotgun that belongs to my 8 year old daughter than have to show them that I used the same massive pistol gun as movie character vigilante cop Max Payne used to carry out his own brand of justice.

Hard trigger pull

.410 000buck spread at 6 feet was unpredictable sometimes they all went through the same hole, sometimes there was a decent spread.

To heavy to carry comfortably, to heavy a trigger pull for a typical female to even hit her target at 6 feet, too uncomfortable to shoot repeatably for a typical male.

Lots of knowledge on this forum is correct. Thanks for sharing guys !

I'll be picking up the 9 MM today and can't wait to go to the range to test it out.

Maybe my next big step will be gettingmy Concealed Carry permit.

Good choice Redfish. I have a Glock 23 along with six other pistols and it is my least favorite to shoot because of the light weight it is abrasive to shoot. This is not to say anything negative about the Glocks because the 23 is on a nightstand by my bed. This is how much trust I have in it going boom.

That being said I shoot a lot and find the 9mm a pleasure to shoot. If you shoot the .40 for a 100 rounds, you will see whatIam talking about.
