Has anyone hunted Perdido River WMA and had any sucess with the turkeys?

do you have to have a quota permit to hunt birds there or is it just fine to walk on in

I scouted Perdido River WMAtoday and I can see why no one posted any reports---I would be surprised if any turkeys were in there!

i got a deer quota there last year. didnt even see 1 turkey track. good luck tho!

I have seen alot of turkeys out there. I walked up on three just north of the pond back in deer season. If you look at my post in "hows your season going", I killed that turkey out there last saturday morning. They are out there you just gotta look. I guess haveing a general gun and a black powder permit for Perdidothis year didn't hurt either. I won't give up specific places but i'll help you out if you need it, just send me a pm and i'll answer it.

Went back out there again today. We saw some tracks and a few scrathes here and there, but heard nothing. Did kill a 3 foot rattle snake though.
