Looking for pigeons

I know this may sound crazy, But does anybody know where I can go to catch some pigeons?
I need some to train a few dogs, getting ready for dove and duck season.
I've got a trap that I'm going to put out around my house but I don't know how well it will work. I have caught them in the past under overpasses but I dont know where to find any around here. I need some help!

Had a guy once tell me that when he was younger, him and his friends would go to parking lots that had a bunch of pigeons and catch pigeons with popcorn. They would take the popcorn and pour liqueur on it then spread it out in the lot. The pigeons would eat the popcorn and become drunk and they would walk around with a potatoe sack an pick them up. I'm sure this ain't legal anymore but sounds like a nifty way to catch some lol!

I heard of a guy who sliced open a bunch of raisins, put sleeping pill powder inside them, sewed them up with a stitch and threw them out and waited for them to fall asleep. Doesn't sound legal but what is these days?

At the foot of Palafox, there are allot of them on the roof tops. I go there and throw left over french fries at lunch sometimes for entertainment. In the large parking lot, over looking the port.

Thanks. I'll go check out that area tonight. I went last night and looked under almost all of I-110 and had no luck

Been wantin to cast net some at pal pier but dont know the consiquences and am not willing to take the chance. If you find/catch a few extra's I may be willing to buy one or two or am willing to help go catch them if you want shoot me a PM

Call Holland Farms in Jay.....I saw a ton of em in their fields!!!! Not sure ifin folks are going to hunt them or if they are nuisance????
