yea thats an old old video.
bill....on these ranches the bigger the deer the more you pay. they probably signed up to shoot a cull buck for 500 bucks or something and he ended up shooting a 180 class deer thats probably gonna end up costing him 5k or so |

not a problem, I didn't mean for it to sound negatively if thats the way you took it. Its been awhile since anyone has posted it and I was just pointing out that the video was a couple years old

havent watched the vid you posted but im guessin its with Jimmy Perlitz(sp?). the guy that shot the buck is supposedly the ranch hand at the Perlitz Ranch. from what i heard it was all staged. but decent acting...

If thats not fake that will add $7500 to his bill. I was lucky enough to hunt at the Tecomate Ranch in South Texas for a graduation present and those boys don't mess around. A management buck cost $2500 and a trophy cost $10,000. They watch those deer grow for years and it costs a ton. Those guys bought a helicopter just to keep track of antler growth. The camera they use to film shows cost more than my house. If that dude was a guide he just lost alot of $ b/c they get tips. Bigger deer bigger tip. It was to close to the truck not to be staged.
