I found some decent deals I think.

Got me a stripped AR lower (Spikes Tactical) for $110 out the door. (I wanted stripped to build a pistol AR). Been wanting a stripped lower and have always read Spikes was quality stuff, so I am happy about that.

Ammo can with 500rds of .223 brass cased PMC for $150 out the door. About standard prices I could find online, and I didnt have to pay shipping.

Some stripper clips for the .223 and spoons to reload...and a leather pocket holster for my Kel Tec PF9

I was happy with it. I have been looking at pretty much all of the above to get online, and of those I got the lower receiver cheaper at the show, and the pocket holster was a few bucks cheaper.

Also, forgot to add I got to finger a new SCAR-L, to bad about the $4k price tag though. Gave me an idea about them, if I were to buy one I would get the SCAR-H though.

Worth the entry fee and the 4 hours I spent drooling.

Thanks for starting this post.

I andfour friends went, 1 LEO and his 2 year old daughter, (Mom's day off), 1 retired Army, 1 Alaskan native & this Olde Pharte and we enjoyed the experience. Needless to say we are all "gun people" and were not shopping, just looking, although I was looking for some 45ACP hollow points for my 1917 S&W revolver, which I found for $21.50 for 50 rounds. First time to find what I went after and not buy anything else.

Our LEO friend bought some .303 Enfield ammo for an antique English Armyrifle his Dad had left him, plus a Taurus 22 revolver for plinking. "Alaska Mike" bought a bunch of 40 caliber ammo for his son, who is "legally" blind and recently won a match in Oklahoma. ???(Ask me)

As we were leaving, our LEO friend caught us and asked us to sign a petition to get Judge Kinsey re-elected as she is a staunch supporter of Law and Order. We gladly complied, at least the three of us Escambia County registered voters. When our friend Alaska Mike was asked if he was a registered voter, he answered, "Yes, in Homer Alaska." The lady answered, "Thank you for Sarah." We all had moist eyes.

God Bless AMERICA!:usaflag:usaflag:usaflag

I bought one alast year from the guns show last time I went, bad thing is you pay $7 to get in to look at mostly over priced stuff, at lease since the Obama scare started.
