Default Broke the Ice

Me, OffshoreRN and my buddy Casey headed out to the lease to try to get Zachs first Gobbler. We got to a spot that was real good last year and set up in some 10 year pines that were pretty clean up under. As it was breaking daylight we heard 2 about 300 yards out that was tearing it up but we had to cross a field to get to em so I figured they would see us so we just sat still. It wasnt long we had 2 in front of us about 3 or 400 yards across a creeks so I told them we would just sit tight a few more minutes and see what happend. Within a couple minutes one busted off about 100 yards in front of us on our side the creek. I let it get a little more light and yelped a couple times and he cut me off. I did this again and I heard him pitch down...he never said another word. He swung out to our right and came in behind us and luckily Zach was able to pull off the shot on him. It was a great morning! Bird had 11 1/2 inch beard and 1 inch spurs and weight about 18lbs. Ready for #2 now!

Trying to get the Video downloaded. Its not that great being we got snuck up on but its a video.

LOL! There may be "some" luck involved, but your track record speak's for itself. Can't wait to go one day soon.
