Tusa IQ 750???

Has anyone gotten a chance to play around tih one of these yet/ does own one? It appears simple enough and its replacing the IQ 700 that many of us love so much. I was just wondering if there were any thoughts on the product.:letsdrink

Nate,

I had the chance to dive it a couple of times. The 750 is a three-gas computer, but does not boast the simplicity of the IQ-700. While it certainly isn't as easy to use as the 700, it is feature-rich. It uses the same type of software that you will find in Oceanic, Hollis, Aeris, Sherwood, etc computers. Once you figure out how to use it (it includes a handy flow-chart), then it will allow you more customization than the IQ-700. I will say that I was extremely impressed with the new IQ-850. It uses the same basic software as the 700, but adds a few features, like a vibrating alarm.

Josh is buyin' Alexa the new IQ with the vibrating alarm...she'll be intentionally going into deco every dive! Only question is, where she gonna wear it?!

yeah, a buddy of mine wanted to get a computer. He thought he found a IQ750 before they were gone, turns out he missed his chance. However, the people he got it from said they haven't updated the site yet and would send him the IQ 750 for the same cost. I played with it for a minute or so and was totally lost, but he kept messing with it and we took it to the springs. He loves it now though.
