Went out yesterday for a couple quick dives before the next Al Gore warm front comes through. Yes it was cold we left at 10 AM water at Sherman ramp was 47 deg. Water offshore was 57 deg. a little warmer on bottom (Just a little). We did manage to get a 2 man limit of Gags. Vis was 30 feet on bottom 10 miles affshore. Gags are inshore so go get them before the season closes on Feb 1st. Seas yesterday were dead calm. I took pictures but I will practice what i preach.:doh

you are a bigger man that i am. i have decided to hang up my gear till water temps get back to 64/65ish. anything below that just gives me that "truck just parked on my face" headache.

congrats on the kills....diving a wreck or natural bottom???? don't care the location, just the structure type.

Common public spots is where I dove. For your headaches just get a hooded vest instead of a plain hood. Wear the vest between the farmer john pants and the jacket. I personally would never have a one piece suit too much water transfer for me that is..

I just saw this report. I want to get out before the grouper closes, but man the weather has just not cooperated when I can get out. Good job on getting out and sticking some fish.
