Leave from Big Lagoon boat launch around 7am. Experienced divers and spearfishermen ONLY.

We hit the O for our 1st dive yesterday morning. The vis was crap for the O. I'd say it was about 30'.

The O is an amazing dive when there's good vis, but I don't enjoy it as much when you can only see 30'.

Wow, only 30'. I was hoping for much better since it's so far out.

We'll see what happens tomorrow AM. I'll put up a post when I get back.

Telum Pisces

Vis has been hit and miss recently. I was out tuesday only about 20 miles and hade blue clear 75 feet of vis. We moved only 4 miles and had a murky 20 feet. Then we moved only 1.8 miles away from that spot and had 65 feet again.

The vis was pretty good on the O.Small current. This was my first trip there. Guess it's common to see a group of dive boats. Several folks going really deep. Looks like it's key to hook up on one of the Southern mooring bouys.

2nd dive was the Tennaco. Lots of good Amberjack. My bud Bill shot a monster.
